Digital Goa, June 14- Goa Police have arrested a 21-year-old man from Colvale in a hit & run case involving a minor child at Cuchelim, Mapusa. The accused is identified as Rakesh Patil a resident of Ganesh Nagar, Colvale and native of Belgaum. The accident was captured on CCTV, which helped the police in apprehending the accused. Rakesh hit the small child with his two-wheeler, while he was trying to cross the road. He slowed down for a while but fled from the spot after he saw a lady pick the child from the road. Luckily the child is safe and has been discharged from the hospital.
