Digital Goa, Dec 21- The Goa Government has convened a Communidade Convention as per Art. 652 of the Code of Communidade to discuss issues related to Communidades in Goa. The convention will be attended by the members and components of all Communidades of Goa on January 14, 2024 at National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula. Based on the inputs being received from the respective Communidades, the Agenda for the convention will be finalized by the Commission by January 5, 2024 and same will be available for information on official websites, of Collector (North) on https://northgoa.gov.in/ & Collector (South) on https://southgoa.nic.in/ by 8th January, 2024.
Meanwhile, Government has also appointed a five members Commission comprising Estifano C. D’mello, Attorney of Pilerne Communidade; Nelson Joe Fernandes, Attorney of Assagao Communidade; Marvin Stanislavs Gonsalves, Member of Bambolim Communidade; Savio Joaquim Filipe Correia, President Communidade of Margao and Avinash Tavares, President Communidade of Colva. Savio J. Filipe Correia is appointed as the Moderator by the Commission.
