Digital Goa, August 3 – A fresh war of words has erupted between the Congress and AAP over opposition unity in Goa, with both parties accusing each other of undermining alliance efforts. Goa Congress president Girish Chodankar alleged that AAP was targeting Congress-held constituencies despite publicly advocating an alliance. He claimed AAP Goa in-charge Atishi had been visiting Congress MLA constituencies, questioning the party’s intentions. AAP Goa president Valmiki Naik rejected the allegations, and urged Chodankar not to “vitiate the atmosphere.” He also alleged that Congress has been criticising AAP at local and national level. Despite the exchange, AAP reiterated that it remains open to an alliance with the Congress.
