April 25 – Congress has written to SP North asking him to direct PI of Bicholim police station to book officials and individuals responsible for the death of Electricity Department lineman due to electrocution while on duty at Bicholim. Congress has pointed out that the death has been registered as an unnatural death and that no one has been named in the FIR till date. Assistant Lineman Manoj Jambaulikar was electrocuted while he was working on electric poll at Bicholim.
