Sept 4- Congress delegation which went to meet and submit a memorandum to Chief Secretary(CS) Puneet Kumar Goel over the conversion of paddy fields at Aldona and alleged purchase of the land by him, were blocked at the entrance of the State Assembly Complex. The main gate of the complex was closed and large police force was deployed at the venue. Congress has alleged that zone of 18,075 sq mtr land at Aldona had been converted and CS has allegedly bought the land. “We have come here to ask him, if he is the same Puneet Kumar Goel who has purchased the land,” said GPCC President Amit Patkar who led the delegation. The delegation was later told that only 5 persons will be permitted to go inside the Assembly campus which they refused to comply with. They were later told that the CS had already left from his office, following which the delegation dispersed. Congress leaders said they are contemplating to meet either CM, TCP Minister or Governor in the matter.
