Digital Goa, Nov 25 – GPCC President Amit Patkar said the Congress will first declare candidates for Zilla Panchayat constituencies where there is no dispute with alliance partners. Names that have been screened at the block and district levels and approved by the Pradesh Election Committee will be announced initially. He said internal discussions with alliance partners are ongoing. “We met one partner yesterday and will meet the other today,” Patkar said. The Congress is currently in talks with the RGP and GFP for a possible alliance for the ZP polls.
