Digital Goa, Dec 20 – A person from Corlim, Old Goa has been nabbed by Mapusa police for stealing gold bangle from jewellery shop at Mapusa Municipal Market. According to police, the accused Nilesh Naik and his wife stole a gold bangle weighing 25 grams from the display counter of the jewellery shop by diverting the attention of the shopkeeper. The couple was nabbed by police from Old Goa while they were in the process of selling it. The stolen bangle has been seized from Nilesh. While Nilesh has been given police custody, his wife has been given notice for appearance before police.
