Digital Goa, July 27 – A couple from Ponda have been cheated of ₹16 lakh by six individuals linked to a company in Kolhapur. As per the complaint filed at Mardol Police Station the accused — Indrajit Kadam, Amey Kadam, Smita Kadam, Shailesh Wagh, Rahul Gadve, and Rupali Gadve — allegedly lured the couple into investing in a scheme promising ₹4,500 monthly returns per ₹1 lakh for two years, with the principal to be returned after the lock-in period.
