Digital Goa, Jan 26 – Goa Governor P Ashok Gajapathi Raju on Monday described the creation of the Kushawati district as a landmark administrative reform aimed at strengthening decentralised governance in the state. Addressing the 77th Republic Day celebrations at Bambolim, the Governor said the new district would bring government services closer to citizens, improve efficiency and service delivery, and ensure the holistic development of Goa’s hinterland regions.
