Crime Branch busts inter-state drug racket; narcotics worth ₹42.65 lakh seized

Digital Goa, July 30 – Goa Crime Branch has busted an inter-state drug trafficking network with links to Delhi, leading to the seizure of narcotics worth over ₹42.65 lakh. The investigation began with the arrest of Abhiram Pulikkal (26), a Kerala native residing in Arpora, on June 18, 2026, with methamphetamine and MDMA worth ₹2.65 lakh. Further investigation revealed alleged links to a drug network reportedly operated from inside Central Jail, Colvale, and identified two associates based in Delhi. Acting on intelligence shared by the Goa Crime Branch, the Delhi Crime Branch seized 151 grams of methamphetamine and 512 grams of magic mushrooms worth about ₹40 lakh and arrested the two accused.
