Old Goa police have registered an FIR against Crime Branch Police Inspector Vikas Deykar and Ranjini Palyekar in connection with allegations of sexual assault on a minor girl.According to police, the complaint alleges that Deykar sexually assaulted the girl at the Crime Branch premises in Ribandar on July 25 and October 27, 2026. Palyekar allegedly facilitated the incidents. The case has been registered under Sections 75, 127, 49 and 61(2)(a), read with 3(5), of the BNS and Sections 10 and 12 of the POCSO Act. Further investigation is underway.
