Crime Branch rescues two trafficking victims in Old Goa raid

Digital Goa, Jan 11 – Crime Branch, on the eve of Anti-Human Trafficking Day, conducted a trap-based raid and rescued two victims of human trafficking who were being used for sexual exploitation. Acting on suo motu intelligence, CB officials sent a decoy customer and struck a deal with an agent for supplying two girls in Old Goa. Telephonic communication with an unidentified accused confirmed the existence of an organised racket involved in recruiting and transporting victims for sexual exploitation and supplying them to customers for monetary gain. The rescued girls have been sent to a protective home for care and rehabilitation.
