Oct 3- Taking cognisance of the Cuncolim child head injury while in school premises incident, State Education Department has prepared a report on the incident. If there is any negligence, corresponding persons should be taken to task, asserted Education Director Shailesh Zingde. Action will be taken on the guilty, he added. He further informed that the Department as well as the school has not received official complaint in this regards, however a complaint has been filed at the Cuncolim Police station. “We came to know of the incident through Social Media,” he said. “As per the report received by us, I find some things objectionable,” he said adding that management has been given instruction to check CCTV footage. The director went on to add that the Department has a limited role to play as the appointing as well as the disciplinary authority is the school management. Department will have to take both parties into confidence before taking any further decision, he added.
