Digital Goa, Nov 26 – A woman from Curtorim has reported a cyber fraud case after losing ₹1 lakh following a malicious APK link download believed to be related to the Parivahan app. According to the complaint filed by the Curtorim-based woman, the incident occurred on September 20, 2025, when her husband received an APK link and forwarded it to her. After she clicked on the file, an unknown accused allegedly gained access to her phone and carried out two unauthorized online transactions. Police said ₹50,000 each were deducted from two of her bank accounts which were reportedly used to purchase Amazon Pay gift vouchers by the fraudster.
