Digital Goa, Mar 15 – Goa govt has hiked Dearness Allowance (DA) to 50 per cent of basic pay from the existing rate of 46 per cent with retrospective effect from January 1, 2024, to compensate against price rise. The hike will benefit over 63,000 employees of the State govt and grant-in-aid Educational Institutions. The salary as per new pay structure will be paid from April 2024 along with arrears from Jan to March 2024 . Central govt had announced similar hike to its employees few days back.
