Digital Goa, Nov 18 – In a daring daylight robbery on November 14, an intruder broke into a flat at St Cruz around 11:30 am and decamped with cash and gold valuables worth ₹25 lakh. The owner, W Bharati, a contractor by profession, stated that the robbers took ₹15 lakh in cash—mostly client advances—and ₹10 lakh worth of jewellery. The theft occurred when Bharati’s wife had stepped out to pick up their child from school. CCTV footage shows the suspect arriving in MH-registered bike. The intruder also tried to break into a neighbouring flat but found no valuables there. Old Goa Police are investigating the incident.
