Digital Goa, Feb 5- Cabinet today further extended to April 30, deadline for completing the process for filling up group C posts advertised prior to January 2022. The Goa Staff Selection Commission (second amendment) ordinance will be amended to allow the departments to complete the recruitment for group C posts by April 30. The earlier deadline to complete the process had ended on Jan 31. The state had started recruitment to fill about 10,000 vacancies prior to the 2022 assembly election. Some departments that had issued advertisements for subordinate posts prior to January 8, 2022, have not completed the recruitment examination and selection process for filling up the posts. Govt had given these departments deadline till Aug 31 to fill up these posts as vacancies created after January 8, 2022 are to be filled up through the Goa Staff Selection Commission. The deadline was further extended to Oct 31 and then to Jan 31. It will now be extended further to April 30.
