Rajnath Singh hails Navika Sagar Parikrama II crew’s inspiring global voyage
Digital Goa, May 29- Defence Minister Rajnath Singh hailed the Navika Sagar Parikrama II crew for their inspiring achievement as they arrived at Mormugao Port this evening after successfully completing their global circumnavigation aboard the Indian Naval Sailing Vessel Tarini. The double-handed voyage, undertaken by Lt Cdr Roopa A and Lt Cdr Dilna K, began from Goa on 2 October 2024. Singh praised their feat, saying it will inspire youth, especially daughters. He also highlighted the vital role of women in the Indian armed forces during Operation Sindoor.
