Digital Goa, Sept 29 – Social activist Rama Kankonkar’s wife, Rati accompanied by a delegation of activists and citizens, met Goa Governor Pusapati Ashok Gajapathi Raju today, demanding justice for her husband. Rama was brutally assaulted in broad daylight on Sept 18. She informed that Rama’s condition still remains unstable, with his vision and mobility affected. An MRI scan reportedly revealed a blood clot in the head, she said. The delegation called for a thorough investigation into the incident and highlighted concerns over safety for activists in the state.
