Aug 6- Desilting of rivers in Goa will commence from January-February, 2025 to avoid flooding in the State during monsoons, informed WRD Minister Subhash Shirodkar. He said that Lok Sabha election code of conduct hampered the related work this year. Survey of Valvanti river and black spots therein will be completed by December and desilting of the river will be taken up by Jan, he added.
