Digital Goa, Nov 3 – DGP Alok Kumar refuted claims that any IPS officer in Goa police pressured local police over the Oceanman event at Caranzalem, stating that no such involvement was found after speaking to officers. He said police acted immediately once the unauthorised activity was detected. The clarification follows Tourism Minister Rohan Khaunte’s allegation of “high-handedness” by an IPS officer.
