Digital Goa, July 29 – The Goa Investment Promotion Board (IPB) approval for Delta Corp’s resort project at Dhargal will be granted subject to clearance from the Command Area Development Authority (CADA), Chief Minister Pramod Sawant informed the Goa Legislative Assembly. Speaking in the House, CM Sawant added that the Delta Corp project is currently subjudice with PIL in high Court. Water Resources Minister Subhash Shirodkar said that a meeting of the CADA board will be held after the conclusion of the ongoing Assembly session and before August 15. The board will deliberate on several pending proposals, including Delta Corp’s application concerning 3.3 lakh square metres of land. The House was also informed that the land in question was purchased by Delta Corp from local farmers. IPB had notified the area, some of which in allegedly in command area of Tillari Irrigation Project as an Investment Promotion Area back in 2021.
