Digital Goa, Nov 28 – Disha Naik from Goa has been certified as nation’s first lady firefighter authorized to operate crash fire tender, specially designed for aircraft rescue and firefighting. Referring to this as historic achievement, GMR Goa International Airport Limited (GGIAL) lauded Disha, a dedicated firefighter in the Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting (ARFF) unit of Manohar International Airport (MIA) for breaking gender norms and achieving the feat.
