Feb 28 – The new District and Sessions Court Complex at Merces is likely to commence operations from March 10. A direction to shift the District and Civil & Criminal Courts – currently located at, Altinho of this effect has been issued by the Court of Principal District & Sessions Judge, North Goa. However, some of the courts like Fast Track Special Court will continue to function from Altinho for now. The state-of-the-art building with a built-up area of around 34,000 square metres was inaugurated around 4 months back.
