Jan 6- State Epidemiologist Dr Utkarsh Betodkar has appealed to people not to panic over HMPV virus. “It is like any other common flu which spreads during winter season. It is not life threatening and it has common symptoms like running nose, fever etc. This virus was found in 2001 and there is no case of fatality due to this virus in India so far,” he added.
