Dec 26- Goa govt has notified the draft rules under the Goa Public Records Bill, 2023 and sought objections and suggestions from public within a period of 30 days. The rules are aimed at regulating the management, administration and preservation of public records of the government. The rules have been specified for a wide variety of applications including the the period of acceptance for deposit of public records which are permanent in nature etc and also specify the reprographic and transcription facilities for obtaining documents such as archived travel records, birth, death, marriage certificates etc.
