Digital Goa, Jan 8 – Telangana Excise Dept seized illegally transported liquor worth Rs One lakh and arrested the driver and conductor of a KTC bus at Medak, Telangana. 70 bottles of alcohol of various brands were seized from the Hyderabad-bound KTC bus. Medak Prohibition & Excise Enforcement division, said they arrested 52-year-old Ulhas Shridhar, and 51-year-old Abasaheb, after stopping the bus during a vehicle check at Kamkole toll plaza. The duo has confessed to plan of selling the liquor in Telangana at higher rates, informed officials.
