Digital Goa, May 19 – A woman died and two others were injured after a scooter rider, allegedly drunk, rammed into pedestrians near Three Kings Hall at Cansaulim, on May 18. The accused, Aryan Gaude from Shiroda, Ponda, was riding a two-wheeler in a rash and negligent manner when he hit 43-year-old Sangeeta Bind, her husband Serai Bind, and their 13-year-old daughter. Sangeeta Bind succumbed to her injuries, while the other two sustained minor injuries and are undergoing treatment at SGDH Margao. The rider and his pillion also suffered injuries. Verna Police are investigating the case.
