Digital Goa, May 21 – Forest Minister Vishwajeet Rane has announced that the gates to Dudhsagar waterfall will remain closed to visitors due to safety concerns arising from heavy rains predicted across Goa.In a public advisory, the minister cautioned residents and tourists against venturing into other waterfalls and trekking spots, warning of strong currents, flash floods, and slippery terrain that could pose serious risks.He urged people to refrain from trekking or visiting high-risk areas until weather conditions stabilize. IMD has forecasted heavy to very heavy rainfall across Goa in the coming days, potentially leading to hazardous conditions, particularly in forested and hilly areas.
