Digital Goa, December, 26 – The e-challan system at the Pollem checkpost has been temporarily suspended after complaints of technical glitches and excessive fines. Officials said all pending challans issued from December 19 till date will be cancelled. The action was initiated after locals protested at the checkpost, citing unfair penalties and traffic congestion caused by repeated checks, and urged the govt to suspend the faulty system.
