Digital Goa, August 11 – Election Commission of India (ECI) has identified five more political parties from Goa among 476 Registered Unrecognised Political Parties (RUPPs) across the country for possible de-listing as part of its ongoing electoral roll clean-up exercise. This is the second round of action, following the de-listing of 334 RUPPs on August 9, 2025, which reduced the total number of such parties from 2,854 to 2,520. In the first round, four Goa-based parties — Goa Nationalist Party, Goa Praja Party, Goemcarancho Otrec Asro, and United Goans Party — were among those delisted.
