Digital Goa, Sept 10, 2025 – Enforcement Directorate (ED), Panaji Zonal Office has seized 7 high end vehicles and Rs 72 lakh in connection with the illegal land grabbing of Communidade lands by Yeshwant Sawant and others. ED carried out search operations on Sept 9 and 10 at 13 residential and commercial premises across Goa and Hyderabad. The action was taken under PMLA in connection with the illegal land grabbing of Communidade lands in Goa by Yeshwant Sawant & Ors. During the searches, the ED seized various incriminating documents, cash totalling approximately Rs 72 lakh, and seven high-end vehicles. Several bank accounts and fixed deposits linked to the accused have also been frozen. The accused people allegedly grabbed lakhs of sq mtr of Communidade land at Anjuna and Assagao using forged documents.
