Dec 5- With the objective of creating APAAR ID for every student in the State, Directorate of Education has directed all schools in Goa to designate the 9th and 10th of every month as Mega APAAR Diwas starting from Dec 9 & 10. On these 2 days schools are expected to focus on updating student records on the Unified District Information System for Education (UDISE) portal and generating their APAAR IDs. An initiative under the ‘One Nation, One Student ID’ program, the APAAR ID is a unique 12-digit code to be assigned to every student to allows them to digitally store, manage, and access academic credits such as degrees, diplomas, certificates, training details, and co-curricular achievement. Using the ID the Education Department aims to track the progress of each and every student in the State. APAAR ID will simplify tasks like admissions and organize crucial student information for enhanced academic management, stated a release by the Education Department.
