Digital Goa, Sept 12- In a shocking incident, eight youth travelling by Goa Express yesterday were robbed by offering chocolates laced with sedatives. As per preliminary investigation, mobile phones of these passengers are missing. All eight passengers were admitted to hospital at Belgaum after they were found unconscious in the compartment of a train coming from Vasco. All passengers except for one are out of danger. They told police that they were offered chocolate and chips by three youths, who befriended them after the train left Vasco station. The three youths alighted at Sanvordem station, according to some passengers. It is suspected that the chocolates may be laced with sedatives and the accused robbed the passengers of their valuables and alighted at Sanvordem station. Railway Police are investigating the matter.
