Digital Goa, May 29 – State Electricity Dept has issued a public notice urging consumers to relocate electricity meters from inside their homes to locations that are easily accessible to meter readers. The deadline for compliance is November 28, 2025. The notice warns that failure to relocate the meter may result in disconnection of the power supply until the issue is resolved. Consumers are advised to choose a suitable, weather-protected location for the meter and contact their respective sub-division offices for assistance.
