Digital Goa, Feb 28 – The State Electricity Dept has issued public notices to two of its line helper staff for remaining absent without authorization from duties for prolonged period of time. Line Helper Shashank Naik has been absent from duties since Sept 23, 2020 (over 3 years) while Line Helper Wilson Fernandes has been absent since Nov 1, 2019 (over 4 years). As the department is not able to locate the whereabouts of the 2 staffers they have been issued a notice asking them to submit their written statement of defence. The dept has warned that they will proceed with the matter ex-parte if no reply is received from them within stipulated time. Memorandum of chargesheet in both cases is available in the Office of the Deputy Director (Administration), 4th floor, Vidyut Bhavan, Panaji, states the notice.
