Feb 14- Electricity Department has issues showcause notices to several internet and cable service provider companies and levied hefty fine on 2 of them for using electricity poles for pulling their cables. They have now been given 15 days period to register with the department and organise the cables or remove them. Fines to the tune of Rs 3.45 crore and Rs 1.80 crore respectively have been levied on two of the companies.
