Digital Goa, Oct 7 – Directorate of Transport, Government of Goa, has announced that an electronic enforcement system under Section 136-A of the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988, will be implemented at the Mollem Checkpost from today, October 7, 2025. According to the public notice issued by Director of Transport, the system will be operational at the Mollem Checkpost for the detection and penalising of traffic offences through the Goa Vehicle Authentication System (GoVA). System-generated e-challans will be sent via SMS to the registered mobile number of vehicle owners by the Department of Police or Transport.
