Digital Goa, Dec 15- Environmental Public Hearing for Sirigao Mineral Block will be held on Jan 18, 2024 at 10.30 am at Narayan Zantye Multipurpose Sports Complex, Sarvan, Bicholim for ascertaining concerns of the affected persons for the project. The Public Hearing will be conducted by the Goa State Pollution Control Board in consultation with the District as per Environmental Impact Assessment 2006 w.r.t. Block III Monte De Sirigao Mineral Block with area of 95.6712 Ha Located in Sirigao villages of Bicholim Taluka, North Goa District for the production of 0.5 МТРА of iron ore by M/s. Rajaram Bandekar (Sirigao) Mines Pvt. Ltd. The Environmental Public Hearing is conducted for ascertaining the concerns of the affected persons who can express their views or seek information or clarifications from the project proponent. The soft copies of the project details are to be made available for reference on the website of Goa State Pollution Control Board i.e. www. goaspcb.gov.in
