Digital Goa, June 12 – The completion of Italian company EuroStampa’s manufacturing plant in Goa within just 18 months—from plot allotment to construction—speaks volumes about the state’s improved Ease of Doing Business environment(EODB), CM Pramod Sawant said today. He was speaking at the inauguration of EuroStampa’s manufacturing facility at the Verna Industrial Estate(Lotoulim), in the presence of company officials and Walter Ferrara, Consul General of Italy in Mumbai. The company, which specialises in label printing for global wine, spirits, food, and cosmetics industries, chose Goa over several Asian locations, Sawant informed, adding that it reflects the state’s growing appeal as a preferred investment destination. The compnay has also signed an MoU with Don Bosco College of Engineering, Fatorda, to enable student internships and placement opportunities.
