Digital Goa, Aug 13 – First Level Checking of EVMs and VVPATs ahead of the 2027 Goa Assembly elections will begin in both districts from August 17 in the presence of representatives of recognised political parties. The exercise will be held at Altinho, Panaji, from August 17 to 28 for North Goa and at the Old Collectorate, Margao, from August 17 to 31 for South Goa. The machines will undergo prescribed technical checks as per Election Commission of India guidelines.
