Ex minister Prakash Velip summoned in House to apologise for ‘insulting’ Speaker

Digital Goa, Feb 9 – Breach of privilege is moved against ex MLA Prakash Velip for making allegation of corruption against Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar while assembly is in session. Speaker Tawadkar told the house that Velip has insulted the office of Speaker by making baseless allegation and he will be summoned in the house to apologise for his act. Tawadkar also warned media to be careful while reporting such incidents when the Assembly is in session. Velip had addressed a press conference yesterday in which he had made serious allegations against Speaker Ramesh Tawadkar with reference to the schools run by him in his constituency.
