Dec 7- The Crime Branch has arrested Sunita Rodrigues Ex wife of Myron Rodrigues who is allegedly the main accused in the multi-crore investment scam. Large number of investors were cheated by Myron and his accomplices to the tune of crores on pretext of giving huge return on investment. The arrest was made after an investigation revealed that Sunita was actively involved in the fraudulent activities and had played a crucial role in the scam, informed police. Despite being summoned for questioning, she had been evasive and non-cooperative, prompting the police to take action, added Crime Branch sleuths. Sunita has been arrested under relevant sections 406,420 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sec 3 & 5 of GPID Act. She will be produced before the Magistrate tomorrow for remand.
