As part of the 56th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) running from 20 to 28 November 2025, the WAVES Film Bazaar in partnership with National Film Development Corporation (NFDC) and LTIMindtree is unveiling what is being billed as India’s first-ever AI Film Festival ecosystem.
Under this initiative, filmmakers will merge text prompts with short video clips to craft films, marking a fusion of artificial intelligence and cinematic storytelling. Facebook+1
The festival also includes the “CinemAI Hackathon”, where participants will experiment with AI as a co‐creator in the filmmaking process.
