Digital Goa, May 5 – Director of the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) has issued an order placing Food Safety Officer Vishwasrao Rane under suspension with immediate effect, stating that disciplinary proceedings are being contemplated against him. As per the order, Rane’s headquarters during the suspension period will be the Directorate of Food & Drugs Administration in Bambolim, and he has been directed not to leave the headquarters without prior permission.
