Digital Goa, Dec 20 – Beach belts in Goa will be manned by more than 450 lifesavers, 80 beach safety patrol personnel and 2 state-of-the-art AI bots, Aurus and Triton during the festive season which is also the peak tourist season in the state. The AI bots, Triton and Aurus will be put to use for comprehensive beach safety support. Lifesavers at all 35 towers are also equipped with first-aid kits, spine boards, surfboards, rescue boards, rescue tubes, handheld radio sets and bag valve masks to assist in lifesaving operations.
