Digital Goa, Dec 8 – In the ongoing investigation into the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub fire incident, police on Monday made the fifth arrest in the case. The accused has been identified as Bharat Karan Singh Kohli (49), a resident of Punjabi Basti, Sabji Mandi, Delhi. According to police, he was responsible for managing the daily operations of the nightclub on behalf of the owners. “A police team is already in Delhi to trace and arrest the owners of the premises who are wanted in the case. Further, Government officials involved in issuing various permits and licences to the establishment have been called for investigation to verify compliance lapses and procedural violations,” stated a release issued by Goa police today.
