Digital Goa, August 18 – Animal Husbandry Minister Nilkanth Halarnkar said Goa government will be implementing the apex court order on setting up shelter homes for stray dogs in Goa once the final order comes in this regards. “Once the final order comes, we will implement it. The government has funds to create the required infrastructure,” he asserted. His statement came in response to concerns raised by animal welfare NGOs over the court order. Goa govt has already formed a 3 member task force to frame and execute an action plan for rehabilitating stray canines.
