Digital Goa, Dec 11 – State Election Commission (SEC) has announced that 226 candidates will contest the upcoming Zilla Panchayat elections, after withdrawals reduced the earlier 320 valid nominations. According to the final list released on Thursday, North Goa will see 111 candidates fighting for 25 ZP seats, while South Goa will have 115 candidates contesting across its 25 constituencies.
