Aug 26- TCP dept is moving to amend regulations to slap fines ranging from Rs one lakh to Rs one crore, depending on the size of the plot for any illegal violations, such as hill cutting and other illegal activities and plotting, informed Minister Vishwajeet Rane. “In the last 6 months, no permission has been granted to anyone for hill cutting by the department,” he asserted adding that if any such hill cuttings are going on anywhere in Goa . Dy Collector, Mamlatdar and Talathi’s will have to act as per directions issued by CM Pramod Sawant against such violations, he added.
